The California is a residence of Cannes, in the California neighborhood - Pezou which previously was called the California Hotel, the Grand Hotel California in 1913 and the California Palace in 1925.
The building consists of four floors, was built in 1876 from plans by architect Laurent Vianay, on a plot of more than two hectares. Hotel with 200 rooms, it has a frontage of one hundred meters decorated by the sculptor Ernest Pellegrini. Rooms are provided for the staff of hotel guests. Enlargements are performed in 1913 by the architect, and the hotel is renowned Grand Hotel California. He has 240 rooms. The park is planted including palm trees and exotic plants.
